The start of the 2012 year has been great!
I got offered a job just before the new year. Its a Outreach Program Assistant position with the organization I’ve been interning with. After some consideration, I accepted the offer on Tuesday, and started the very next day. This first week has been exciting as its my first full-time job. 8 hour work days (plus 1 hour lunch) isn’t too bad. The day goes by fairly quickly, except for the exhaustion from the lack of sleep. Getting into the habit of a midnight bedtime is a challenge. I might even have to make a 11pm curfew if I’m still tired at work. We’ll see how my first whole week of work turns out (:
I’m working on yet ANOTHER last minute 5318510580-page paper. My last semester and I’ll never learn. But, the weird thing is that, without noting that this is my second time taking this course and that it’s a procrastinated paper, I’m actually enjoying the process of writing it. I’ve actually took the time to think about the content of this paper (yes - it’s definitely not as thorough as some overachievers in class, but it works). I hope that I get a good grade on it (: I’d be happy with a B please.
Here’s to an all-nighter! Then parties for the rest of the week <3
After a couple of weeks of non-stop school, work, & internship, I FINALLY get to rest! For the first time in what it seems like forever, I got to sleep in and get my energy back. Also, I actually don’t have anything scheduled for the day. So now, I’m doing laundry and I know that today is going to be at least a wonderful day, if not a productive day :D I’m ready to play!
I’m always at Tri’s house. It’s my home away from home. But nowadays, the house that I grew up in, spoiled with an abundance of clothes, food, and love, is my “new” home away from home. Tonight is the first night in a LONG while that I’ve slept at my house. And the reason for that is because I have a super important paper due tomorrow. Time management always lets me down when it comes to the big projects - but that is another topic for another day. I needed the freedom to think and move around as I please, in my own room and in my own bed. As much as I love doing homework in bed with Tri laying there watching tv next to me, it doesn’t go well with the big assignments. So, here I am, at my home away from home just to do my important paper. Tomorrow night, I will be back to my old routine. At Tri’s house.

My old boss at SJSU welcomed me back to work for the semester, while I’m still a student. Even with my scattered schedule, I need the money, so I’m going to make this work. Gotta get that money & I gotta graduate! That’s the plan.
Ughhh! I’m totally stressing out about graduation. And it’s not about being nervous or scared that school’s ending. It’s about having to retake one of my senior classes that I received a C- in.. yes, not my proudest moment.
As a new rule, you must retake a class if you received a C- in it. I’ve been back and forth with major advisors and academic advisors on how I could petition this or what my back up plan would be. I DO NOT WANT TO RETURN FOR ONLY ONE CLASS DURING THE SPRING SEMESTER - IT’S ~$2,500 DOWN THE DRAIN AND A GRADUATION POSTPONED D:
The first day of school is tomorrow, and I’m not done fighting. Wish me luck!
Got a new phone, finally. But changed services to do so. I really liked Verizon so AT&T has some high standards to live up to. I’m slowing getting used to my Samsung Galaxy Fit. It’s sooo high tech, or I’ve just been unconsciously tech illiterate the past few years. For now, I’m enjoying it (:
The past 2 days, I’ve been biking with Tri and it’s so much fun! (x Not that I thought it was dull before, but it’s the fact that I’m actually being active. Sure, Tri & I would go on walks with Tyson, but now, I get a sweat from biking. Anddd, Tyson gets a better workout as well.
Right now, I’m super duper sore and it feels GOOD at the same time; You know what I’m talking about.
Here’s to loosing weight (especially for Melissa’s wedding - that’s now in less than a month) :D
Got offered an internship today :D If I do say yes, I hope I live up to their expectations.
Almost out of the first.
